Our Approach to Furniture Spray Painting

Do you have an old kitchen dresser or a favourite dining chair or table that you may have been considering throwing away? Whatever the item is, we can have it finished in the way that you want. Waites can spray it to bring it back to life for you with a fresh durable finish. Some customers bring us Ikea furniture that they want to match into their decor and requires a colour change – not a problem. Not only does furniture spray painting save money on buying new furniture, but of course your choice to upcycle keeps good items from ending up in the landfill.

When complete, your new finish is super durable and should last about 10 to 15 years. We offer a local collection and delivery service in the North Northamptonshire area and can arrange for drop offs also.

How We Get Your Quote

With a kitchen respray we will always need to come out to your home. We’re happy to make our way to any town or village in Northamptonshire to visit your kitchen, discuss your needs and measure up. As well as rejuvenating your kitchen units, it may be that want to complete the new look with a full room decoration as well. That’s no problem if so. We can discuss that, as well as handles, colours, timescales and all the details. After the on-site visit, your quote will be prepared at no charge and with no obligation. This is normally sent within 48hours of the visit.
Furniture spraying does not necessarily require a home visit and can often be assessed by sending in photographs and dimensions. You’ll find an upload area on our quote form where you can send up to 3 images and provide basic details to us.

Questions?

Why is spray painting kitchen cabinets better than hand painting?
Kitchen spray painters provide a professional finish rather than a hand painted finish that will leave brush stroke or dimpled roller makes. This is a professional skill technique that uses specialist products and professional spray guns. When you see the results for yourself, it is clear that the finish is far better than traditional methods. We take pride in giving you a brand new finish that will transform your kitchen. It also helps reduce good kitchen units going to waste in landfill.
What is the cost of kitchen spray painting?
The cost of a complete kitchen respray will range from £1,000 to £5,000. The cost is dependent on factors such as kitchen size, the quantity of cabinets, and the extent of areas to be sprayed. For an exact quote, get in touch with Waites Painting & Decorating so we can arrange a quick visit to measure up and then get costings to you.
What towns and areas do you cover for kitchen spraying?
We work across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Oundle, Corby, Kettering, Rutland, and Leicestershire.
How long does spraying kitchen cabinets take?
This depends on the size, shape and condition of the kitchen, but it usually takes between a week and 10 days to finish.
How long does the paint last?
This is a durable finish that lasts about 10 to 15 years, which can take the usual impacts of daily life in the kitchen. This means it can extend the life of your existing kitchen by 10 – 15 years.
How long does the spray paint take to dry?
The spray paint is touch dry in 1 to 2 hours. The paint takes 21 days to cure. So we ask you not to wipes or clean the cabinets in the first 3 weeks.
Is kitchen spraying right for me?
If your existing kitchen has structural integrity and functions well, but is not visually appealing, your choice is to replace units and doors, or to bring in professional kitchen spray painters. Even for a kitchen that has damage, a strategic repair and professional respray, will prove to be more cost-effective than opting for a new replacement kitchen. If the layout for a kitchen respray is £1,000 to £5,000 but the cost of a new kitchen is £1,000 to £5,000 to £25,000 you can soon see the savings.
